El coronel Helmut Von Knochen, principal inquilino del Hotel Moustic, sede actual de la Geheime Staatspolizei alemana, se encuentra a punto de lanzar una tremenda ofensiva para capturar a toda la resistencia belga. ¿Podrá Spirou llegar a tiempo para impedir esta diabólica redada? ¿Conseguirá escapar de las sospechas del coronel y de las garras de los nazis? Biografía del autor Yann (Le Pennetier, Marsella, 1954) es un guionista punzante, apasionado de historia y curioso de todo. Empezó con la publicidad y la arquitectura antes de caer ante el arte del cómic empezando para la revista Spirou en 1974. Su encuentro con Didier Conrad va a sacudir la veterana editorial a partir de 1978. Su primera serie de aventuras presenta unos personajes totalmente distintos a los de la historieta tradicional: Los innombrables, un trío loco publicado por Dibbuks en España. Pero Yann comprende rápidamente que el dibujo no le permite expresar todas sus ideas y decide dedicarse al guión. En numerosas series, se le ve acompañado de un ejército de dibujantes como Frank Le Gall, Yslaire (Sambre), François Avril, Yves Chaland, Denis Bodart, Batem y André Franquin (Marsupilami), Berthet, Laurent Verron, Morris (Lucky Luke), etc. Hoy en día vive en Bruselas y es uno de estos autores ineludible del mundo del cómic. Olivier Schwartz (1963, Nogent-sur-Marne) es un dibujante autodidacta que empezó en un fanzine en 1983 antes de pasar a ilustrar cómic para niños para la editorial Milan o la revista para niños Astrapi. Acabó trabajando para numerosos soportes de prensa, dibujando juegos, tests, cómics históricos y, más recientemente, novelas y enciclopedias. Su estilo cercano al de Yves Chaland o Joost Swarte, de la llamada neo línea clara, llama por igual a los artistas y al gran público. El guionista Yann, después de varias propuestas de proyectos, acaba uniéndose a él para retomar el personaje de Spirou en la colección Una aventura de Spirou por... Con estos autores el relevo generacional de Franquin está salvado con dignidad. Y con mucha. La historia se pierde en algún momento pero el dibujo es excelente. Y los guiños al comic clásico belga y francés son y no se me ocurre otra palabra, deliciosos.Au majos/as.
Grandísimas estas “aproximaciones alternativas” al personaje, que se alejan de las aventuras más convencionales (o quizá más infantiles-juveniles) del mismo, convirtiéndolas en historias más adultas. Auténtica joya.
